How to test Temperature Sensor?
- Unplug the Oven
- Ensure the oven is unplugged from the power source to prevent electrical hazards
- Locate the Temperature Sensor
- The Temperature Sensor is usually located at the top rear or side of the oven’s interior, depending on the model
- You may need to remove the oven’s back panel or inner wall to access it
- Disconnect the Temperature Sensor
- Once you have access, disconnect any wires attached to the Temperature Sensor to isolate it for testing
Some useful diagnosing tips
- Use a multimeter to test resistance (approx. 1,000-1,100 ohms at room temperature).
- Look for frayed wires or physical damage.
- Measure resistance at different temperatures (cold and hot).
- If readings are off, replace the sensor.
